Mix It Up!

Practise English opposites, telling the time and prepositions with Mix It Up!, a printable board game that combines three different language activities.

Players move along the winding path and complete a challenge on each square. They might be asked to name the opposite of a word, read an analogue clock or describe where a ball is in relation to a chair or box.

The game offers plenty of opportunities to practise everyday English vocabulary. Learners work with familiar words such as happy, clean, big and closed, tell the time in English and use prepositions such as on, under, behind and next to.

Mix It Up! can be played at different language levels. Beginners can give short answers, while learners with more experience can use complete sentences or explain their answers in greater detail.
